Trivial Pursuit.

There is nothing like a week-end with some good friends to keep one sane through the stress of moving.
The people in the photographs are some of my favorite people in the world.
In the words of William Wordsworth this was "one of those heavenly days that cannot die".

Organizing the exodus.

We've lived in England for nine years and we are finally moving to Italy, the place I'm from.
Organizing a move of this kind requires a lot of texting, emailing, phoning, writing, selling, buying, bartering and stressing. My husband is the one bearing the brunt of it all.
I mostly sneak around taking photos and reading books!

Evening.

"But, there are hours of lonely musing,
Such as in evening silence come,
when, soft as birds their pinions closing,
The heart's best feelings gather home."

From Charlotte Bronte's Evening Solace.

I must add that all these photographs are merely exercises. I played around with different shutter speeds to see what happened.
Any advice is more than welcome!
